Default Carlini Super Sweep Bar Upgrade this weekend

Well its raining here in Calgary Alberta this weekend so I figured it would be great weekend to get my new to me Carlini Super Sweep Bars on my Rocker this weekend. Anyone have any tips on swapping out the bars? Looks pretty easy in the service manual. Only part that I wasn't sure about is that I might or might not need extensions on the control wires?

Thanks Jay

You will need wiring extensions and its a pain fishing the wires through they have rope through the bars to help u but its still a pain. I actually split the wiring cases and removed turn signal wires i dont run front signals anyway and it made it easier to fish them through. The last thing u need to know is u have to use 1/2 inch novello riser extensions or your bars wont clear the dash. The carlini site says 9" super sweeps will clear but they dont. I have pics of mine in my album if u wonna take a look

Oh one more question how many inch extensions did you get 4 or 8? I have to order some because no one in town had stock same go's with the nevello custom riser I'm going to try again tomorrow to find extensions.

Thanks for all the help I will be sure to post up some pic's when I done.

i did mine a few weeks back, internally wired, nothing complicated, just take it slow, and cover the tank and fender well, wire thin chain, thick speaker wire, all good things to use as a fish in the bars, took me about 5 minutes each side to get the wires passed through, push and pull technique. Good luck
