pull your plugs out and check to see if you have spark, if the plugs are firing its a gas problem. My friends bike did this and it turned out to the fuel petcock on the tank was plugged.
Pulled the plugs, ran the bike without the plugs in, put he the plugs in and she fired right up, appears she was significantly flooded. I guess the short pipes with out correct jet will continue to do that...Thanks for all of the help!
Glad you got it figured out.
As you can see, my bike was used from a dealership and came with an S&S carb and the Big Shots Staggered already on. I have a similar problem to yours in that my bike doesn't like warm starting unless I hold open the throttle about 1/6th while crankin her over, then she'll fire right up! If I don't hold open that throttle she'll just fire on one cylinder all flooded like while cranking. Also, she'll get loaded up in the low range if I just put around doing 5th gear 40-45mph, puttin around on my night rides and then come to a stop, you'll see she'll start hesitating to idle n stuff. But if I ride it like I stole it, doing 4th gear and ~2500 @ 45mph through the twisties and come to a stop, she'll be idling like a champ.
I do have a set of Big Shots Long and Quiet Baffles that I'm waiting to have put on. Gonna see if that affects her at all, and then if it doesn't, I'mma take it from there and have a look at that carb...
