Default Softail Slim Thoughts?

Anyone ridden a Softail Slim yet? How is the ride quality? I'm coming from a Fat Bob and really like the look of the Slim. Any overall thoughts about the bike?

Right up front i will say i did not ride it! But i just saw one at the dealer the other day and sat on it and looked it over! Its is a very nice bike for sure! I am not a fan of skinny rear ends but this bike is sharp. Very old school looking. Seat height is only 23.8 inches which is awsome cause i love the down low feeling of the softails. I would not trade my Fatboy lo in for one but it is really nice and a bike i would consider if i was in the market to buy a bike cause i didnt own one!

I'm not sure why anyone would want a big twin with a skinnier rear end, but that's just me. Harley's done their research and I guess there's a market for them...

Its not! mt90 is equal to 130 mm and the mu85 is 140 mm!!! Exact same tire sizes as on the deluxe! Dont listen to people that dont know what there talking about!

one of the reasons the Slim gets great reviews from the people that have ridden one is because of the normal size rear tire. Wider the rear tire the poorer it will handle, I personally think wider tires on most bikes look stupid and are over done.

Love the bike, love the look, and the ride is incredible. And the power over my iron is night and day.
