Hey can anyone help me I'm looking to put 2" extended forward controls on my 09 fatboy, will they hit the fender?
Also i was looking to put (if I can find one) a HD billet forward control kit 33907-01, can they be made 2" extended?
Thanks

I put the Arlen Ness extensions on my Lo with the HD forward controls. I think the Ness extensions are 3" and they clear just fine. I love it!
Hey cheers for that!
I read somewhere that extended controls would hit the fender on a fatboy but HD ones might be all good.
What about aftermarket ones?
Hey thanks for the replies!
can you tell me will the ness extensions work with say Zodiac standard controls?
I'm trying to find some after market forward controls that I can fit my willie G pags and brake pad to.
I've been searching the net but haven't had any luck??

I can't be sure, but anything that will bolt to an FX front end (the three bolt pattern on the front of the frame) will work with the Arlen Ness extension.
All the extension is, is a piece of steel, with 2 sets of the bolt pattern, moved 3 inches out, and a longer brake line, and a longer shift linkage.
