Thanks!
I have looked at cycle trader and Craigslist. Looks like patience is the key....just sit back and wait for one to show up that you like and is a good deal...then pounce. :-)
That bike is clean and very stock except for the SE slip ons which are garbage from what people say about them. It has a 2 tone paint job which is good, but the headlight points str8 up for some reason. Bikes in my parts are priced rediculously high, but I think there are better ones out there as others have said. You'd be better off dumping your $2k on a $12K bike in the long run.
I Own an 07fxstc and love it!!
big enough to be a "big" bike but nimble enough to handle like a sport bike. If that pic is the actual bike than it looks pretty stock to me. Doesn't appear to be anyone elses "bling" on it as the fxstc came pretty chromed out from the factory. And the rake on it appears to be factory as well. The headlights on this model are basically one bolt and easy to adjust
You're right in that 12,300 is retail blue book on it so I would def not pay above that, but the miles are pretty low as well offer him 11 and work your way to 11,500 and you got a pretty good deal IMHO as they prob only have 8-9 in it at most as trade in on it.
Looked at that pic once more and it does have an aftermarket seat which kinda sucks IMHO since the stock seat was a king/queen seat with a sissy bar and is very comfy solo and 2 up and I see aftermarket pegs but other than that and slip ons looks stock to me
That's just a Badlander seat, also known as the Night Train stock seat. I had one on for a year, but prefer to have a 2 piece one. The badlander is bad on the ***.

I went back and offered them $11k so we will see what they say. I assume you are saying $11k before taxes and so forth? Correct? Thanks for the reply!
