What are slip one? Are those the handle bar grips?

The bike is definitely clean but it does seem priced high. We will see how bad they want to sell it... I've offered them $11k so we will see. They may opt to hold onto it and sell it to another uninformed buyer.

Slip-ons are mufflers per say. Not as good as a full exaust. Gives more sound and maybe a little power. SE exaust is not stock.

Yea, the seat isn't that comfortable and I would change it to another seat with a small sissy bar.

It has screaming eagle exhaust...those aren't stock are they?

Thanks for the reply. I am working on a better deal so we will see.

Ahhhhh gotcha. He kept saying the exhaust was "upgraded" and I didn't think SE was stock so I assumed he was correct.

But even with some of the things done to the bike, it doesn't seem worth almost $13k.

Nope and he can prolly smell your unfamiliarity with HD a mile away. No offense.

No doubt. He said he has a Harley also (a dresser). I haven't owned a Harley since 93' and even then my knowledge was limited. No offense taken. I will learn, that's why I ask questions.

K ghoticov, here's what's invested in the bike:

SE slip ons: retail for $375, plus shouldn't be more than 1 hour for install, so $80/hr labour.

Grips: $70 + 1 hr lab (rounded up).

Pegs (front and back): $130 + 1 hr lab (rounded up).

Timer Cover: $23 + 4 seconds to install

Badlander Seat: $220 + 4 seconds to install once stock seat & sissy is taken off.

Total investment in accessories is about $1060 + tx for parts and labour.

It is a clean low mileage bike, but you should not pay a cent more than your offer to them, because there are likely better deals around.

There is no sign of it being tuned with a tuner as it appears to have the stock air cleaner, hence it is not needed. A stg 1 cost me $1700 cdn including the SE air cleaner, SE tuner & V&H exhaust at the dealer, and I did that to not void warranty.

Thanks man!

No, he didn't say anything about it being tuned... just that it had "upgraded" exhaust, pegs, grips and so forth. In fact, he didn't say anything about the seat not being stock. Maybe he knew and didn't mention it, maybe not.

So an offer between $11 - $11'500 before taxes an and so forth seems like a decent deal? I am assuming when you guys say $11k or so is before taxes, title, etc.

To be honest I know nothing about the seat that's on there but it doesnt look so good or comfy (just my opinion) and the original factory seat w/ sissy bar being very comfy both solo and 2up And very good looking too boot (again just my opinion) I wouldn't say 11-11.5 Pre taxes I'd say that as total ride it home price.
Again this is all strictly one guys opinion. The fxstc is a great bike that looks great and rides great and can be modded to be whatever u want. I run it with saddlebags, fender bag and windshield for cruising and by taking off 4 bolts I can strip it down and it's a hot looking bar hopper but like FX stated the mods that it has already are no high $ mods and in my opinion not having the factory seat would lower the value of it not increase it, but again just my 2 cents
