One more thing, if you do go with a 99 and earlier front end, I believe you can swap out the lower sliders, for late model sliders.And then you'll not not only be able to usethe late model (sealed bearing) wheel, you will be using the 00 and later brake caliper as well.It is a significantly better piece than the 99 and earlier caliper. You can pick the sliders up on ebay, fairly cheap.I can't see anyone wanting to go back to tapered bearings.
