I'm open to race anything, but I'm not going to NJ to do it
Where then?
NJ pines is a biker/rider secret, very few cars and 2 mile straights, been a lot of fun and a learning experience for the guys that like to see what they can do and the"my richard is bigger" crowd. I've been suprised a few times myself at skills and the lack of them when the rubber hits the road.

Well, considering I live in Rockford, IL, NJ pines is quite a hike from where I live. I can't afford to take off work to go race....lol. Maybe if I was single and not married i would consider it, but I don't think the wife would be too happy if I said "I'm going racing, be back in a few days"!! I can't stand the "my richard is bigger" crowd. I have done everything to my bike because I wanted to....not because i wanted to impress everyone else.

Man, I wish my wife would say that!!...lol (granted i DO like spending time with her). She sometimes gets mad at me for riding ALL day, let alone being gone for 2 weeks! Granted we have only been married for a little over a year (together for 6 yrs). Well, if you can take "2" weeks then you should ride to Illinois!
Yeah right I've been married 26 years. And just cos she says take 2 weeks that don't mean it's what she's really thinking, trust me you'll pay for it later.

Yeah...it's amazing how ALL men are suppose to read their wives' minds!

Usually do a Chi town trip every year or 2. I'll let ya know.
As for wife, she understood when we joined that I ride and ride far, she has a great job but a demanding one. She usually flies in for a couple days where I am traveling then flies back.
Lucky me. This ones psycho score is very low.
