Default Visor trim ring

Took off the old headlight trim ring from my 2011 Heritage to install a visor trim ring. The old trim ring fit nice and tight, installed new visor trim ring it's loose and rattling around. Did anyone else have this problem? I sure can't leave it on like that.

I know when I installed the one on my deuce, I had to make sure to carefully put the rubber basket back in the right position and also to align the tabs in the trim ring in the right spot. Otherwise, it didn't fit just right.

What is the part number of the one you installed? Some people have used the thin stick on weather stripping around the bucket then installed the ring over it and it was a tight, rattle free install. One particular trim ring, the one that is split at the bottom, is designed to go over the stock ring.

Part # is 69734-05 and is designed to replace the existing trim ring.

Thanks everyone! Took a small piece of self stick sound proofing material applied it to the basket and all is well.

Sure you've long corrected the issue, but a 6"X .5" black doublesided weather stripping from Home Depot, placed at top of lamp housing will solve the problem...
