That's close but mine has the black pearl strip in the center. It actually looks more gray than black but mine is red and black pearl.
That color is hard to find on that fender and if it was me I wouldnt get picky. My orig color pacific blue pearl is even harder to find and I am always looking for a new tank and fender. I think it was linited to two years. Prolly out of you price range.
----- Bummer --- , what did your wife say when she saw it ,,
She said "oh wow, that sucks". Lol
I am spent quite a bit of $ doing the upgrades I have done in the last few weeks, just can't afford now to get the whole bike painted. I am leaning towards just taking it to a body shop and seeing how much they will repair it for.

Yea, that's the one thing I loved about the bike is the color. I have never seen one in my area....nit that there isn't one, I have just never seen one.
Before I spent $425 for a tin that didn't match, I will, either get it repaired (even if it cost more) or pay my buddy that lives in GA to do a whole new paint job, which he will do for $1200 and he does incredible work.
Hopefully a repair job won't be more than $500 and be done with it and be able to keep my kick *** OG color. :-)
Make sure they know HD paint. It is a lacquer paint under clear.
OK, cool I didn't know that.
I was going to start by contacting a dealer or two and seeing who they would use for a job like this. I don't know any body shops in my area so I figure they can start me in the right direction.

When I wrecked mine I never found matching tins and HD prices were redicules. Found my current SET on ebay for $410.00 for all three. Keep your eye out. Good luck.

Wow, $410 for the whole set? Nice! Now if I could do that, I may just replace them all.
What would be the best search words on eBay to use for the search?
