I agree. I get compliments on the color all the time and Ive never seen another one in my area.

In fact, isn't 07 the year there was a strike or something so there are less of these bikes made with it? I thought I read that somewhere.

Yes. Strike at the York plant. Had to wait an extra 2 months for mine because of it.

Gotcha. Its weird that I have never seen this color around town. In fact, I've only seen a handful (3 or 4) of pics on this forum with it.

Maybe others hate it. Lol

The custom and standard did not have a lot of colors to chose from. My FXST was offered in 4 colors. Red pearl, blue pearl, silver pearl and black. Not sure about the custom.

When we got the wife 07 fxst, all we could find at Mills or Brians was silver & black...If I had seen the blue pearl I would've snatched that bugger up

When I take off the axle nut and add the road6customs plate holder, do I need to put anti seize on the nut (or bolt) before putting it back on? I have a 3/8" torque wrench so I am good there, just wasn't sure if I should use the anti seize on it.

I go to pick up dinner, which is only about a 10 mile round trip. I drove my bike because I wanted to see how the new set up felt (rolling the bars forward, being lowered, etc). I notice that on a few bumps it seems to either bottom out or hit really hard. It didn't do that before I added the swingarm license plate... even after I lowered it.

I get home to find this:

that f'in sucks big time.. you'll see it every time you walk up to the bike.. it needs to be fixed.. with the paint broke, moisture will get in there and rust will start in short order..
