Default Stupid question of the night

How do you take the rear turn signal loose? I looked around it but I'm too stupid to figure it out and dont want to break it. ?

They bolt on from under the fender. If you can jack up the bike it will give you more room to work as the swing arm drops. Good luck. Hope this helps

you just remove the strut cover and the signal is bolted to that. the wire is short so you will have to unplug it from the tail light

Thats actually part of the problem. My strut bolt is completely stripped and after 2 days of fighting it, I have decided to get the turn signal out off the way to try and get a different angle on the strut bolt. That thing is stupid stuck. I've tried everything

Wow! It pays to have the right tools. After trying everything I had, even heat and easy out kit with no success, I took it to my local auto repair shop. He took out a pair of huge vise grips with wicked teeth and turned it out like there was nothing to it. I worked on that thing for 2 freaking days and he took it out in 5 seconds. I felt like a helpless fool. Lol
