Hi im joe, 24 i have a 96 evo fatboy i broke the shift linkage ball joint onto the rear shifter and now i cant get it off! Any ideas or helpfill info i know im trying to turn it the right way.
Thanks
Well i was correct in turning it the right way so after nearly popping ever vein in my neck & applying heat from a mini torch from harbor freight it finally came off! Thank jebus! But now the new on from harley wont come off to put on the bent rod that came with my samson true duals!
Finally fixed it!!! although 1 problem down another arises, this time with those crush gaskets! since i had everything torqued i had to loosen them up to adjust everything around and im not to sure if i saw flames pop out of the exhaust/head, but im sure i did so im guessing your not supposed to reuse them. To top it off my harley, the "biggest" harley dealership in texas maybe the world carries nothing in stock! i had to special order my first set!
