Default Slim owner new to forum

Hi! This is my 1st posting. I love how everyone is so helpful to others. I have a Softail Slim and have not done much to it because there are not many accessories available now. I want a fold down sissy bar/rack combo. Anyone have any suggestions? I have the swing arm bag but I need options for an overnight ride. Also not sure how to post pics yet so when/if I figure it out I will.

welcome aboard....The aftermarket will surely catch up with the Slim soon. Kuryakyn makes something similar to what you are asking about, but I do not know if they make it for the Slim.

Post pics, we want to see. It's easy. Also, when you get a bag, you might want to consider getting a bag that can also serve as a driver's backrest. Really helps out on those long trips and you get two-for-one. I have a Biker's Friend that does double duty, but I don't like it that much, I'm looking for something else.

One more piece of unwanted advice: consider the detachable sissy bar. You can strip it off fast and get that clean look that looks so good on the Slim.

Welcome to the Forum. You just entered the realm of modifications and spending hard earned cash. I know, I just dropped another $2300 last week. Easy come, easy go. Good luck with the scoot.

welcome,

I've found that if you look for parts that fit the blackline for the rear end parts and fatboys lo's for the front end, that works, at least untill the market catches up.

I cant wait to see how many different styles of slims there are in the future

Welcome. When you start finding parts you may wish you hadn't, it'll cost you. Also you'll love every minute of the modifying. Enjoy.
