Just replaced my stocks with 422 and so far the ONLY benefit is the lowered bike. I've played with the preset for a few weeks now and while I can get a "nice" ride it's hardly worth the 400 + install. I looked hard at the shotguns and for various reasons decided not to go with them. Everyone raves about them just too bad they don't have a distributor/installer here on the east coast of Canada.

Have you contacted JD at SS?

As for the install it is VERY easy you just need to support the bike off of the ground when removing the old shocks and installing the air compressure and the new air shocks.
I watched JD install mine and he did it in about one hour, and that was with me asking questions and JD answering the phone calls from customers.

Default Look bro

Ok so I have done the research and the math and have tested both the shotgun is the way to go it doesn't bleed down and the ride can be adjusted and rebound and be made to ride however you want. I might add that this system comes with lifetime warranty and I have personally talked with the inventor (cool dude jd) he is a true inavator of the system. He personally installed my shotgun shock and I couldn't be more happy.

It was a pleasure meeting you and installing your shock here in Sturgis. Anyone else in Sturgis, be sure to come by our booth, located across from The Easy Rider Saloon, on Lazelle St.

Simple install, 1-1/2" drop, easily reversible, cheap.
I agree. Very simple install and looks great. I installed mine in an hour and I had no idea what I was doing ... I have just started wrenching on my bike.
