This is just my personal opinion. Chrome covers ALWAYS look like just that, covers. I use no covers other then on 2 parts of my bike and thats only because they can't be chromed. If I can't afford the real deal I wait until I can before I use covers. If you park a bike with chrome covers next to a bike with the real deal, your bike will get little or no attention. The lay person may never know the difference but all Harley riders will. I think covers look cheap but if it's all one can afford then one has to do what one has to do. I knock no one for thier choices or anyone's bike. A ugly beat up Harley is still a Harley. People ask me, "You think you can get anymore chrome on that thing"? I never answer them, I just smile. The truth is though that there is more I can chrome and those pieces will come off this winter and sent out for chroming. Also, always choose triple chrome or show chrome over anything else. If your going to chrome, don't go cheap. I am finally at a point in my life where I can do what I want. I have waited years for "this" bike and I will only do it right this time around.
Agree with the others, if you can afford the chrome swingarm get it instead of covers. I think I paid just under $400 shipped if I remember right. I personally wouldn't pay the outrageous price the Moco wants. The stock chromed ones I've seen from the Moco still have the ugly welds etc...the company I bought mine from smoothed the welds and it was perfect.

Never been a fan of "covers". No matter what quality they are, they always LOOK like covers. I'm a chrome *****, but if I can't afford the actual chrome part, I can wait till I can. For me, every time I would see that cover I would think "damn, it's just a cheap cover". Not trying to make up your mind...just my thoughts on the subject. That's the beauty of Harleys...your's will NEVER look like mine, and mine will NEVER look like someone else's! They're as individual as the #$%^ers that ride them!
ghostrider posted it...give him a call and he will sell you one or just about anything for a little less than on ebay. Most sellers I've learned will give you a better price offline because they don't have to cover the ebay fees etc.
