Default Need help/suggestions with fender ding

I have a small ding or crease in my rear fender thanks to a bonehead move on my part. Does anyone know the best way to fix this? Its right on the bottom edge of the rear fender and its not severe but it annoys the **** out of me. See pic below.

Harley sheet metal is so thin you may be able to do it with your hands?

Get you one of those chromey things for the tip of the fender that have a red reflector or some even have a light. Wait a few weeks and maybe the newness will ease the pain. Took me 64 years however but I no longer sweat the small stuff. Live is a whole lot more fun that way.

Had the exact same thing happen to me, only it was a deeper ding and my wife was the cause of it. Here's how it was fixed after taking it to multiple places that wouldn't touch it:
The last guy I took it to was like, "can I just try something right now?" I said, "sure, go ahead" and he pulled out a hammer. That made me a little uneasy until he just took it and leveraged the handle against the tire and ever so gently, pulled up on the hammer end so that the handle pulled against the dent and out, without breaking the paint. It wasn't perfect, but that pulled it out enough so that it wasn't noticeable unless the dent was pointed out and even then, you had to look closely.

You might want to try that with perhaps a piece of cardboard between the hammer handle and the dent. You also might want to heat the area up a bit with a hair dryer to soften the paint a little bit, too, so it won't crack. The guy did it on my bike without either of those things, but I'd do whatever I could to make it more foolproof if I was doing it myself.

This was of course when I had the shorter stock steel fender.

+1 on the dent remover guys. I've seen some pretty bad dings on cars get fixed with some sort of roller they use. At least it's better then trying to get a dent out of your tank, right? And don't worry, not to many around here that haven't made a "bonehead move" once or twice.
