I bought a 2012 Heritage classic about a month ago. So far I have a little over 1800 miles on it. While out riding yesterday, I started to a deceleration wobble. The speed doesn't matter, even at 30mph you notice it. Has anyone had this problem or anyone have any suggestions? I have checked over the bike and cannot find anything loose or the tires low on pressure. I am at a loss.
You have a defective rear rim. Harley WILL replace it if you raise enough hell!.
I have an 2010 that was out of warranty and they replaced mine.
You need to do a search before asking a question as this whole topic was just covered recently. DON'T ride your bike, it is a dangerous situation!!!
This link will tell you everything you need to know....
Took the bike to the shop, they ordered a new rear wheel. Life is good for now. But, it looks like that if HD knows there is a problem, why not have a recall and fix it before someone gets hurt or killed.

Better than that.. why don't the dealers check them before they sell them..
Have Ur fronts checked also..
I just did new tires and brakes.. also had my INDY check the wheel bearings and adjust all spokes for loose ones and true the wheels..
Charge for doing the spokes and wheels- $6.00.
Neck bearings I adjusted but had them to look at them to make sure they were OK,, N/C for doing that.
They were checked at the 1000 mile break in service and was fine. But 800 miles later they were loose. The service manager didn't question anything, as soon as I told him what was going on, he said that they have had a few of the 2012 bikes do this and said they would tighten them and check everything so I could still ride until they got a new rear wheel in for me. So far I am very happy with their service department.
I just bought a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic 01 May 2013 & in 3 weeks put 2300 miles on it. Today I took it in & asked HD service about the Wobble & the service writer said they are known for that. I am not happy with the treatment I've gotten from my HOG chapter Dealer!!!!!!
I'm glad to find this forum & I'll be going back to the dealer in the next day or two.
Thanks for all the help!!
