Question FLSTC car tire on rear?
People are running a car tire on the back? What tire and what size? Any modifications needed to do so?

Scroll down to the " this and that" section of the forum and go in the "Dark Side".....this section is dedicated to the car tire bikes. If you ask about it any other forum I'm sure you'll get flamed and nothing but negative info.

I don't ride enough to bother an I prefer the look of a bike tire. If I rode long tours where I had to replace a tire during a trip I'd look into it.

Am I missing something here? You buy a Harley for 15-20k and want to save $$ on tires. Seams like a recipe for disaster. Just sayin.

Just wondering , has anyone ran into a problem with state inspection when they notice that you are running a car tire ? In Pa. they would surely jump on that. I don't know how I feel about car tires yet but something needs to be done to improve the mileage on MC tires. If enough people convert to car tires they will be forced to do something to save their racket.
