Need some help
I tried posting this on the Dyna forum without much response. I've a line on a '07 FXSTC with 9500 miles on it and would like to trade my '06 FXDWGI with 21000 miles for it. It will cost me $1500.00 difference. Is this a good deal or what?? Weren't most of the shortcomings of the '06 fixed in the '07 model; ie. compensator, alternator, primary case bearing, cam plate, oil pump, cam chain adjuster, etc?? Does the Soft tail Custom have any short comings that I need to be aware of?? It has the 21" front tire and runs a 200x60 17" on the rear. Only thing I don't like is the Mustang seat that has been put on it. I know it has the 96" B motor and only makes 1ft lb more torque than my 88" engine but that is no issue as it makes it 250 rpm lower. Any input will be greatly appreciated. In the wind.

The only thing i can tell you is I had an 07 Softail heritage classic and I put 54,000 miles on it and I would still have it but it got destroyed in a fire. I had no problems with it and I think it was the first year for the six speed tranny and it all worked well. Sorry I can't lend for info.
