Hey guys,
After the long ride to sturgis, putting 31k miles on the bike in 1 year and 10 months, and being tired of getting screwed by a certian HD dealership I got a new bike. The new bike is a 2012 Street Glide.
I already miss this section of the forums cause the touring forums dont seem as knowledgable or as involved with their own bikes as much as my softail family. I will still be around and browsing this section.
I miss the fatboy but man this glide is sweet.
Congrats on the new ride. Yeah, many smart guys over there but just way too many "look what the dealer bolted on for me" guys. Lol. Enjoy that new machine!!!
Congrats on the new ride. I have been thinking about getting a Street Glide for some time now. Maybe next year I will get one. Going to keep the Lo and the Sportie. Just add to the stable.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the SG cuz that was one good look'n Fatty. Congrats on the SG, have had two and they are great bikes.
Its RKC for me next tho when I get the Concours pd off.
Damn, hoping it was going to be another blacked out Lo from the title (maybe it should have said "Leaving the darkside"), but to find out one of the Lo brothers has gone "touring"...... Just kidding man congrats on the new ride!! I really dig those bikes, been thinking of getting one but it would have to be an addition. Couldn't part with the Lo
My local dealer says that their most popular model of bike is the Street Glide.
I assume it's similar for all dealers. Tons of 'em out there.
Nice bikes, though I don't plan on owning one until the kids are much more grown so my wife and I can tour on it and leave home. And even then, it's going to be an additional bike and not the only one in the stable.
