ctluba man how you doing i had no idea you where on this forum! very cool man love your out of the box thinking on your builds... def will be watching!
I think what makes this project so much cooler is that you are keeping it very cheap. It would be easy to build if you had a unlimited budget and your own machine shop etc. but the way you are doing it, something the regular guy can do on a budget is awesome. Keep the posts coming.

Hey JRK, I just joined up here for this build. Very cool site for sure.
the 600 wheel came in, little dirty!! I dont know if it is the profile or what, but the 180 on the CB and the 180 on the 600 wheel looks wider than the 190 on the 1000 wheel?? Oh well, it is gonna look bad *** either way!!
Picked up the new swingarm pivot bolt from the machine shop. The headlight brackets also showed up.
On the fast track now. Bushings will be ready Monday and the triple with stem early week also. Thing may be a roller by wednesday!!!!!
ok, I picked up my top triple which was drilled for the risers, my new swingarm bushings and my primary cover from the sand blaster.
I bolted up the swinger with spacers and complete rear end (wheel, spacers, sprocket, caliper). I then ran a string from the center frame rail, across the mid-point of the frame cross rail and it ended up in the measured dead center of the tire. This was a quickie set up just to see if I am close and looks dead nuts!!! The chain run looks to be 1/2' to 3/4" off set from a stock softail sprocket. Will get final measurements tomorrow as I have to go to work now!!
Chain run is close, and this is with the swinger hard mounted with new bushings and spacers.
If that goddam stem swap is done tomorrow and my brother can come over with the welder and do the shackle, may be a roller wednesday or thurs!!!!
