I doubt dam seriously that the MOCO would want that ricer chit on OUR bikes anyway!! It all looks like a fuc***g ricer anyway!!
It ain't gonna look ricer, it's gonna look different, home fabbed, and unique, which are all good things in my book. I'd rather see a harley with tons of jap parts on it than have to see anymore of the usual "bolt on some chrome and skulls" bikes you see outside of any bar or bike night.
For me personally, the less MOCO parts on my bike, the better. HD is good at selling overpriced decorative bullshit that does nothing to make the bike function better.

That's just ignorant. Even my "Harley" branded front Dunlop says "made in Japan" on it. Every single piece of electronic stuff under the seat (including the battery) says "made in China". The only thing the MOCO seriously wants is your f***ing money.
Here is the situation. I gave the triple to a bike builder dude. He builds crazy ****, from bikes to race cars to everything in between. I was under the impression he was doing the stem swap. Come to find out he sent it to a machine to get done. So I am not in direct contact with the dude doin the actual work. I guess I will call my guy tomorrow and say "hey, its been three weeks. If the stem isnt done today or tomorrow, I guess I will have to pick it up and send it out".
I am no expert, but I was under the impression that this was a pretty quick / common job. I would hate to have to get it and send it out. That would be another week at the minimum!!! So I will call tomorrow. I have tried not to be a whiny bitch with the guy, so he shouldnt be pissed. I dont think I am being unreasonable!!!
Ahhhh, the good old days!! The CB750 and ZX6 triples before the swap.
One week and $100 later!!!! CB stem in ZX triple, on ZX front end.
Da Da DAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
A little bit of test fitting reveals I will have to have some machine work done to the upper triple. I may just have a an upper triple made. We will see. Maybe thinking I was going to get this bike on the road before winter was a bit optomistic!!!
