I would keep the stock rear swing arm. Looks a lot better and then you also know its right. The CBR one looks just wrong man. It's way too long looking to me. Just looks off. You have a short front with a super long rear. Just does not flow right. But props man to you for taking a clean bike and making it something totally different in your own vision. I guess this is the result if a Harley and a rocket had sex.
We are all eager to see the end result!!

And believe me, a 30 rack of bud makes parts fit together way easier!!!!!!

Holy crap, another 6 1/2 hrs in the garage!!!

Rippin the bike around for a few days was a blast, but **** that caused a lot of extra work!!! I spent the night tearing the stock rear end off, tearing the primary off, blacking out the CBR rear end and starting on the offset tranny plate. The biggest pain in the *** is when I realized that I am going to have pull the friggin oil tank out again inorder to make enough room to lift up the tranny, get the old plate out and get the new offset plate in.

Since I love working in the garage I should shut my mouth!!!!! But I would like to get this bike done this weekend and I think I can!!! My wife is gonna cut off my ***** if I dont do the leaves tomorrow or sunday!!

Photos to follow.

Ya, I dont pick up the leaves, I mulch them up and then use the blower to clean up the edges and stuff.

Hey, another use for bungy cords. Hold up the tranny when you are pulling a tranny plate by yourself!!!

I never thought I would see the day...........A STRAIGHT CHAIN RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1" offset primary kit with a 1/2" offset sprocket did the job.

The monster got his rear end back!!! Nice and blacked out now.

I also measured the frame clearance to the ground with the stock rear end, 5 1/2". I am gonna welld the shackle and adjust the suspension to have the same clearance as stock.

I am gonna call it day for now. I started to get a little frustrated and started rushing. Gonna take nght off and do the yard yard tomorrow. More progress to follow.
