Looks good to me. Being cheap makes it look better.

I guess if I go the one with the side fill cap and the battery box was the proper size, it would work. I screwed up from the start and ket geting worse!!
They make a smaller battery, that should fit. Some crossbones guys have used them, when they relocate the ECM under the seat. Awesome, bike, by the way!

Thanx for the info on the battery. I may take the grinder to that round oil tank I bought and cut off the back of the battery box and just enlarge it the small amount I need. Then weld a side filler nozzle on there. We will see what the winter brings.

Now ya got me thinkin about the dam round oil tank again!!! Hahaha

That's because the round oil tank looks bad ***. It's your monster, but I would go with the round. Just an opinion.and hell, you've gone this far with customization, what's another item? Plus, you already have it, and it may be to cold or wet to ride.
I know I'm struggling, big time. I just finished putting a heritage springer back together, after buying it in parts, and I'm ready to ride, but the weather says no. So, I read this thread yesterday, and half way through, I could feel your pain, when you were dying to ride, in the ice and snow, and your good conscience wouldn't let you do something that crazy. Sucks, though. Lol.
