hi ctluba, new here but read thru as much as I can on this build via cell phone. other than swapping stems and shaving the gixxer top triple, were there any other issues with clearance? I am building a rigid shovel and just picked up some 636 forks, I do not have a triple tree yet and I am doing as much research as possible before buying anything. any input is greatly appreciated. great work on your builds btw
Nope. The front end install was easy compared to the rear end. Sorry for the delay on the response. Havent been here lately, ya know, mid winter depression and all!!!!
Probably gonna start scewin with the round oil tank again. Have not bee motivated to wrench. Got divorced, lost my garage, kinda in limbo. Hard to be organized and motivated when you dont even have a ****in garage.

Sorry to hear that man. May better things come your way!
Gave up on the round oil tank!! I had my brother make the battery box a hair bigger to fit the battery. That hair bigger made it impossible to fit the tank in the bike. There were a couple of other issues as well. Just tired of it man!!! I fit a CBR swingarm on this pig and a friggin oil tank brought me to my knees!!! HAHAHA
So i decided to put the bike back toghter and take a little frigid weather rip. Got a little cold comin through the pass back there!!
I just read 1/3rd of this thread- one of the best. hell of a nice job in creative engineering and I like your ungodly creation- it works. anyway thanks for a very good addition to the forum. BTW I'm running a small Antigravity lithium battery, not cheap but it may solve your battery fitment issue. I use the empty 1/3rd of my battery bucket for tool storage now.
