So I didn't tell you guys that the custom cap and bolt I had made for the gixxer steering stem gave out after 4 years of use. The bolt snapped. So I pulled the front end off the bike and brought the triple tree to the fabricator. He made up a new one but went more heavy duty. All back together and on the road. Only whacked me $50!!!

The new heavy duty cap and bolt on top of the steering stem

Back together and ready to rock!!!

****in bulldog!!! HAHAHA

So I don't know if I ever mentioned that I was having trouble with my starter since last fall I think. Hit the start button and it would spin and then catch. It got progressively worse and my buddy said it sounded like a bad " starter clutch". So he had a starter for a diff year laying around and I switched out the starter clutch, problem not solved. Then I switched the starter motor, same problem. Sunday the dam thing finally conked out. So I finally bought an ultima high output starter on flea bay for $114. Guess what was here when I got home?? Yippy...install tomorrow. Can't wait
