Thanx for the comps.


Just gonna spend another night in the garage with the scotch brite pad workin on the tranny cover and valve covers, bring that chrome down a little closer to brushed aluminiun color. Pretty happy with the overall look at this point.

I'd like to get more of of brushed look outta my aluminum as well. My aluminum is a buffed shine now but I want a dulled out look instead... Does any scotch bright pad wirk, or is there a specific grade for this effect?

grey / green / red use the 3M stuff ....start with the soft and if it is not enough ....medium.....and so on .

Like an animal!! Pretty zippy with the drop in wieght, stops on a dime and actually corners ok for such a long bike.
