Kinda like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hadn't thought of that in years; when I saw that movie, had a 68 Dodge RT with the 440 engine, sure was hard to stay reasonable on the throttle on the way home from the theater. Must have been late 68 or early in 69. Chrysler products were probably the worst handling of the muscle cars, but stock Mustangs weren't so great back then, either. McQueen's was not stock. Lot's of them could break 100 in the quarter, but they could be evil on curves.
Congrats man, glad you got it all figured out. I have to say I do like the way it turned out, definitely one of a kind. It's got enough Harley and sport bike to it to **** everybody off.

very well put!!! :i con_goofygrin:
I almost got into a little trouble today!!! I have been ridin the bike and getting comfortable with the fact that it seems to be holding together fine. I have also been getting used to riding a harley, which I never did before this bike. So anyways, my confidence in the bike is going up. I was coming into a fairly sharp left hander a little hot. I figured what the hell, I gonna smoke through this one like I do on the CB. Next thing I know I am kick stand surfin and my ******* slams shut!!!! Luckily I was able to ease her back upright before I lost the wheels. Safe to say I drove the rest of the way home like a little girl!!!!
You could always lower it a little, so it don't need no kickstand!
Always wondered why some of these customs at the bike shows are so low they won't tip over if you forget the kickstand, must be hard to turn corners with them. That's one thing about the big Harley's that doesn't thrill me, gotta be careful trying to lean one, lot of them will drag easy. Still, it's a bike that just calls to me, nothing else quite like it.
Dayum! For some reason my subscription to this thread disappeared! Awesome job man!!! I ride up around your area a lot... Up Rt.63 to AJ's and the Kent area about a dozen times a year. Hope to run into that beast on the street one day and see it in person.
I have been heading down to Kent most Sunday mornings. I will probably head down for the last few weeks of the season.
I live about 5 min from AJs. Eat there weekly, real good chow!!
This past Sunday was perfect. Real nice weather. This week may be a bit chilly, but if it is dry I will go.
No ****?! I'm sure I'll run into you at some point then. If I can drag the anemic g/f out I might ride up there this weekend. Anything under 60-degrees and she might not make it that far. If not, maybe we'll drive up to Tactical Arms and pop off a few rounds from the AR.
