I like those headlights and think they'll look great on your bike. Another good choice is by Headwinds. They're kind of pricey but they make some of the best looking buckets around..IMO.

This is off the subject, but I just felt compelled to comment that the 2 cartoons above do not necessaily reflect the attitude of all texans. IMHO this board should foster bonds, provide information, and meaningful support to others concerning our common interests. Flames are unnecessary as I apologize in advance for wasting bandwidth. Now, back to HDs....John

Think the bigger one might look better, I just wouldn't want one that's too much bigger than the stocker. Longer yes, but not too much bigger.

Unless you want to really go all out. Then you want something that looks like this.

AGRV8D, how's this for a pic?

Cute isn't it, you can find itat http://www.lickscycles.com/, for something a "bit" more "conventional" in shape check out http://www.headwinds.com/or http://store.adjureinc.com/index.html.

Have fun looking.

Nice headlight..... How bright is it? and could you take a pic of the pattern it has( against a wall in the dark) I like alot of the new things coming out but, I like to see them and how they work before buying them. I've bought way to many things from just seeing a pic and then getting it and not liking it. Thank you Newman

Newman,

I have no idea, personally, on that skull headlight, I linked that pic from the makers web site.
I just thought it would be funny, and you never know. Maybe somebody else might be readingthrough the thread might be looking for just that kind of thing for his, or her, skull covered Night Train.
I first saw it in one of the biker mags last month and its "supposed" to be fairly decent. Just how much better or worse it might be is an unknown, at least to me. But don't all headlights, no matter what they look likehave to meet some kind of minimum DOT standard?

Just for grins, I remembered that I saw a bike last Sept at a Patriot's day ride that I went on that had something very similaron it. Thought it was "different" so I took a pic of it. Never saw the guy riding it so I could ask about it. Not sure he was playing with a full deck either. This was the street racer bike from hell. Its a 4 or 5 year oldV-Max that's been heavily "massaged" internally and sports"4" NOS bottles on it, and one guy who knows the owner says he LIKES to use them often. Think I would be afraid to touch the monster myself.

WOW! That boy likes his skulls. Now about the skull I asked about, I'm sure there is a standard. I would guess. It looks neat and I want skulls on my NT problem is so many have skulls now so I'm lookin for something fresh and new.

Thanks

Ya, he did seem to have a serious likeing for skulls. I'm sorry now that I didn't have the time to take some more pics of it. But at the time I noticed it I was running to my bikecause I was up near the front of the pack (500+ bikers) and needed to have it, and me ready forthe 2nd half of the "run" that day.
If you have any questions about it just go to their web site http://www.lickscycles.com/I'll bet there is a link there for you to e-mail them questions. Maybe get some better pics of it too.
If your into that kind of thing and have an NT I think it would be something I would at least consider. Be something that's definatly going to set a bike off from the crowd.
