Default I have an issue! Oil leak!

I have a 2012 Fatboy Lo Its leaking at the bottom of the front Jug, see picture. When I turn off the bike I can actually see little oil bubbles coming out as it cools off! Any thoughts on why this might have happened? Bike only has 4200 miles! Not real happy!

A little more info would be helpful.

Warranty? If yes; no brainer-take it to a dealer.

If no:
Runs ok?
Suddenly started doing this?
Overheating?
Recent engine work?
Etc...?

Could just be a gasket.

Yeah its under warranty, I was venting... Mainly because I cant stand my Harley dealer here. They are a real pain because I didn't buy my Harley there! Runs fine, Just started doing it. I keep a close eye on the bike. The bike has not over heated, and has not had any engine work other than intake, and exhaust. Pretty sure its just a gasket but I hate, I mean hate to give it to the dealer here, terrible experience with them!

Don't have a solution but looks like the same problem like this 2012 Deluxe: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...k-in-shop.html

take to the dealership and have them fix it under warranty. i know what you mean about hating the fact that you have to deal with them but at least look at it this way. you won't be paying them a dime cause it'll be covered under warranty.

I'm pretty sure they hate servicing bikes under warranty cause i don't think they get any money from Harley for their time lolol.

just take it to them and have them warranty it.

Yep, definitely a warranty item. Wonder if it will turn into a recall on the head gaskets or something, from the issues that have popped up recently.

Many posts on this: it is a coating from the factory that runs off the casting from assy plant. Normal issue, no repair needed. Will go away.

I've heard this occurs more often on SE 110s.

pretty sure i remember one dealer saying they get time and a half for their warranty work, so they are always happy to do it
