So I am building a softail (Ultima frame) from the ground up. I have Demon's calipers, and an aftermarket set of hand controls which look identical to the chrome Harley Davidson set. My brake lever (hand control) has a 12mm banjo bolt, both front and rear caliper as well as rear master cylinder have a 10mm banjo. Stock brake line fittings don't work, so I need to build or find a company who builds brake lines for a softail (stock length).
I've checked ebay, goodridge, and jpcycles and cannot seem to find what I need. I feel like I am re-inventing the wheel and feel the lines are out there, pre-made, ready to buy, and my brain is just mush and I'm not seeing them.
So to those of you who have been in my shoes, can you tell me where to go? Thanks!
I should add, I am not opposed to building my own, but would much rather buy and install.
The Russell pro system II is a nice setup. Nylon line and compression fittings. Build it in your garage in 15 minutes. Small enough to run in the bars or frame tubing also.
