RE: looking for ideas on a few mods before spring gets here
I had my previous bike, a 2004 Suzuki Volusia, about as accessorized as it could get. Then I found myself scratching my head for what else I could do with it. So I sold it and bought the 07 FatBoy and in the process of starting all over again. Although the price difference and what's available for Metric and HD parts is unbelievable. So I say sell it and start all over again....just kiddin". Love the bike, one of my favorites on this site.
RE: looking for ideas on a few mods before spring gets here
I want to thank every one who made suggestions on mods and also for the complements. I looked into the rotor pulley and it was a great idea but I am not about to weld my chrome swing arm. I may go for chrome calipers and a different pulley. a lot of times i add things by way of the computer to see how it would look I had just done that with a Harley custom paint set and ruled it out just did not look right. On the whole I am pleased with my bike and I ride it as much as possible I have over 8,000 miles on it its not a real lot but then again a lot more than some considering the riding season in CT is short. The pulley and calipers will keep me happy for a little while. And I am always looking for a good mod to install. As far as exhaust something would have to floor me to make a move like when I said I would not change my wheels. When I seen the fat daddy's a year and a half ago they were on my ride in a flash they just floored me. To the member who asked what i paid for the wheels i beleive i got them for around $1250.00 Thanks again for all your help it is appreciated

I thought about changing my tin to one of the Harley numbered sets but after really thinking it over decided I really like the nostalgic look of the black and white. I am set on wheels and have plenty of chrome but have some money burning a whole in my pocket. The old lady wants new appliances in the kitchen later for that the bike comes first. any ideas or suggestions will be considered
1. There's a Deuce on this site that has the rear rotor on the left side so when looking at the bike from the right you see both wheels.Looks sharp.
2. Change your grips to something with chrome on them (Kuryakyn ISO's?)
3. Consider theV &H dual fishtail exhausts...they look sharp on Deluxes'.
4. Keeping the black and white color is a good move but still consider a different nostalgic paint scheme...take a look at BlownAlcohols bike. Also, go to Barnes and Noble and look at all of the older paint schemes in the large "Century of HD" book to get some better ideas. I like black and white but you'll have to paint your biketo have it step away fromall the other B/W Deluxes on the road.
You've got a beautiful bike as it sits right now Nikon, but I know the feeling of that $$ burning a hole and the insatiable lust to do more.

nikonf8 I think your bike looks sweet as it is. Only thing I would do is maybe add some old school pinstriping to highlight that black/white look of the tins. Awesome bike man.
