Hey marshalleugene,
How do you like that boom system, i was thinking of getting the windshield mounted one. Can you hear your music at speed ok. I've seen a few youtube vid's but kinda like listening to exhaust vid's its kinda hard to tell if the volume is sufficient in real time.

Love the Harley Boom and I have the windshield mounted one...... Above 70mph and you have to struggle to hear it well...I use it almost every time I take the bike out.. I'd recommend
I was too ... the bags? love them! I couldn't go back to a bike without bags. quick trips to the store or carrying stuff for day trips is really nice.
windshield? mine is off except for the long trips or a highway ride. On and off in 10 seconds.
I had all my flyfishing gear and some food with me the day I took the pic in my signature ... gotta love it.
Ever notice how the guys who say they would never ride a bike with bags (or at least never own one) are always so quick to ask to store their stuff in yours while you ride with them?
Seriously, though, the bags are useful, and they look good, too.
Found my first harley, it's a 1996 heritage, flstn, stage one kit and chrome front end, all by the first and only other owner. I've got zero complaints, love the bike, but haven't done much w/it. I'll try to put a picture here, but I have had no luck w/that up to now. Also, trying to get my post number up.
Threads like this is what helped me decide on the heritage. You will be hard pressed to find anyone saying negative things about the heritage. I am excited about the prospect of getting to know mine and have more to add to these threads.
I think i've settled on trading my street bob for a Heritage this weekend. Candy Orange/Beer bottle in the 2013 model. There's also a used 08 the dealer has that has everything on it I could ever want. I'm torn between them.
Is the back rest detachable? And is the seat one piece? Can I remove the passenger pillion? I never ride two-up. I just want the bags and a more comfortable ride. I have loved my Dyna, but the vibration is a killer for me lately.
