Yes. most all the luggage racks will work with the detachable side plates for sissy bars. the part # for the sport luggage rack for 06' and later is 53953-06 and 53810-00b for the detachable side plate for 00 and later. Just to give you an idea.

I have the quick release on the backrest and the bags as well. The fender bib is a HD part. Hope this shows the different looks.

Looks Sweet! Congrats on the move! Too bad about that snow there.....

Well I did it. Bought a 2013 candy orange/bottle heritage yesterday. woohoo! I removed the pillion, and tried to remove the back rest, but there is one bolt that will not budge at all. Anyway, very happy so far. Gotta raise the handlebars a bit and of course pipes and stuff. Looking forward to comfortable smooth riding for years to come.

Congrats on the new bike! Gotta post some pics. Regarding the bars, I wound up having pullback risers installed and they fit great.

Congrats on the heritage! Welcome to the softail side. My friend who owns a 2012 switchback test rode a heritage at a demo day and said it was so comfortable and smooth he nearly feel asleep. He still prefers his Dyna because he said it is quicker, faster, and more fun to ride.

Congratulations on the new Heritage, you won't be sorry. You will get that bolt out, it is just stuck with some lock-tite. I even bought new chrome bolts that are shorter to replace them with when I want to leave the bags at home and kind of get that fatboy look with a bit more class.

Now comes the customization process to make it all your own. It's a fun time!
