I spent the past couple of nights this week out in the garage putting on a set of V&H Big Radius, an SE Air Kit, and a PCIII (the PCIII is pretty cool even though it was bitch to wire it up in that tight *** batter box area on the Custom). My new 07 Custom now has a new attitude, its sounds like a Harley finally and the performance gain is very noticeable on the low end. Even though it's spit'n snow out, I got to head out there and put a couple more miles on it before dark
UGHHH!!!! I know what you mean!! I installed the PCIII last night, veyr confined space to work in! I'm waiting on the SLOW a$$ UPS guy to bring my pipes..... any minute now!!! They will go on tonight. Rainy today, but tomorrow is supposed to be 60 & sunny. I'll give a quick brief once I get to twist the ole throttle on her!
She's looking good though! That blue is really growing on me!
Thanks guys, like most bikes, it's a work in progress. And dang it was a cold ride, started snowing pretty good before I got back here to the house. But I had to ride it again before dark.
Soft06, yep, its an HD quick release windshield. I like to be able to pop it off for short rides and to clean the bike. I had one of these on my old bike and it spoiled me over the other type of detachables.
Coolhand I was not too sure on the blue color up until the time I bought it. I've always had dark colored bikes till this one. Walked into the steeler back in Dec to buy a t-shirt and this bike was sitn there and I just liked it! So I bought the bike and the steeler thru in 2 free t-shirts
