start of the trip.

stopping for gas right over the OH/PA border.

first bit of rain, about 3 hours outside of chicago.

We got lost around deerfield, literally just riding around until the road ended, then we would turn around and do it again. I was pointing at a moose that ran across the street when we stopped, and then I did my ATLAS pose!

yeah, I think i've got a picture of the tents somewhere. just the little cigar minnow sized 1 person pop-up and a sleeping bag. I had to get a blow up floatie matress in wall because of how uncomfortable the ground is. who knew.

@fatusboyus you're welcome! I love taking pictures on all of my rides. This was just a major one that I didnt share yet.

Major, here is a pic of the campground in michigan city. I took a picture of the urinal because it had been quite a while since I had actually seen a **** trough in person!

and here are the bikes in front of the tents in Sioux Falls. As you can see, they arent big at all.

@jadlh - I want to stay near Deadwood next year. camping, no hotels. that ***** for the birds, and old people. I liked spearfish canyon, and there were some great camping areas around there, so that might be where I lay stakes for 2013.
