Been awhile since I updated, and I got a video of it all working, but my pc crashed so I'm stuck on the iPad and can't transfer the video. But I did get the blue washed off and out for some pics. Most of you have probably already seen these, but here they are again!

Looks clean. Any reason you haven't put the emblem over the mounting bolt?

Just haven't sprayed it yet, plus I need to swap to a lower profile bolt, using the acorn that was on my old dash, sticks up too high for the emblem to clip on. That's your dash btw, thanks again! Took a little work to fit the older tank, but the tank hasn't changed much at all. It was mostly the seat area that conflicted with the rear mounting point of the dash.

Thanks QC! Pretty happy with how it turned out. I was a little worried the WWW wouldn't work, but I think it all tied together nicely. Almost like a tuxedo.

White walls look killer dude. The dash work is nice too.

Some nice white pin stripping would look sweet on that tank now that you cleaned it up.

Alain, dig the pinstripe idea, but paint will have to wait till next year!

I promised a video of this thing working, so here ya go! A bit shakey, but I'm just a dumb biker. What the hell did you expect!

Thanks man! That's some new zz top. Tunes called Gotsta Get Paid, off the Texicali EP. Great song, classic zz top. Pretty sweet video too, look it up on YouTube. Hot chicks, cool cars and chunky riffs, it's what it's all about!

Believe it or not, but doing that kind of electrical work scares me more than pulling apart a perfectly running engine. as I just did.
