Well, what are you waiting for??? You can read about the game in Monday's paper! Going to look killer!
That would work fine for me, but the girlfriend wanted to have a party. I plan on spending a good part of the day in the shop though, so I might actually get this thing close to done!
I'm having a little trouble understanding how looking down in the direction of your foot to see speed, is an improvement from looking a few degrees down from straight ahead. If it was a major appearance enhancement, I could see making that compromise, but this is looking more like unnecessary clutter.
Getting rid of all that bullchit on the tank and having this tiny speed o IS a major appearance factor and as for having to "look down" I wouldn't consider that an issue at all.
So, I got a little more done on the speedo this morning. Still not complete, have to make all the final connections, but everything is installed in the plate. Here's a few pics....
Finished the wiring today, and discovered an issue. Not sure what the problem is, but I'm going to need to retrace my steps and see where it went wrong. Ignition turns on, headlight and bright switch work, but no sigs and no starter. Gotta run through the fuses, then start diagnosing my connections. Damn it, I hate wiring gremlins!

Looking good!
Did you stick with a 150 up front or did you go wider?
Thanks! I stuck with the 150 up front, and switched back to a 150 rear as well. Couldn't find any WWW fronts or rears in anything bigger than that, and since I was a little unsure of the how the WW would look, didn't want to drop the coin on having a set of diamond backs done up for me. If it all works out, might go 160 front and rear next change.
Fell asleep last night reading the wiring schematic, and I don't think I have anything wrong there. I was pretty OCD about that and am pretty sure everything is where it's supposed to be. It seems weird that it would be just the sigs and starter, as everything else, even the new speedo, powers up just fine. Even the neutral light and oil light illuminate. So, it's pointing more to a fuse, since I think the starter relay circuit and the tssm module are powered by the same fuse. Here's to hoping its just a fuse!
