Default 05 dluxe under seat question

Sorry for if this is a dumb question but i just got my dluxe and after pulling seat to remove a weak battery ( its an 05) i see this clear protective film. do y'all clean it and leave it or remove? Thank you

Took mine off, dont use the p-pad much

Your bike is fine looking. #1 what kind of exhast if i can ask and #2 what did you do with the holes while runniing solo seat?

If your putting the same seat back on it why not leave it , it's just paint protection

Roadhouse classic 2 into 1 sport length with full heat shield (discontinued)

I use chrome license plate screw cover snap caps. They work well and look good.

I put the P-pad on occasionally for the wife so I don't plan on welding them up.

i just removed that film so i could put my stock seat back on .i used a heatgun,plastic putty knife and cleaned the glue off with goof off.took a short ride and didn't like my stock seat,so i put my sundower seat right back on.

If you ride a passenger the tape is there to keep the rear seat from scratching the paint that is underneath it. If you ride solo take it off. If you don't, keep it.
