Default SEAT PAD INFO

I am planing a trip this summer. about 3k miles and looking for a external seat pad to use, w/out spending all the $$$$ for a new seat just yet.
Just wondering who has a external seat pad/cushion?
Which one would you recommend? or not recommend?
I ride a 06 flstc

I think Airhawk makes a seat cushion, but I don't have any experience with them.

My wife has an air hawk, which is ok but nothing beats a seat that fits.

I bookmarked this site from a previous post for future reference http://www.alaskaleather.com/buttpads.html. I haven't tried them, since I pretty satisfied with my stock flstci seat. Butt it's something to consider.

I think it'll be cheaper in the long run just to get your seat re-upholstered to add some type of padding that blends to ya hind parts. I'm in the process of adding some padding to my seat. I think it'll last longer and keep the appearance of the bike immaculant.

I highly recommend http://geltecproducts.com/SearchResu...x?CategoryID=3...

It is far better than air hawk or any gel filled pad...

Send it to one of the HDForum's sponsors, www.americanasoftseats.com For small bucks, you get a gel pad and memory foam on your current seat. I got mine done, and it's awesome. Very fast service!
