No hissing sound when key is turned on

I recently took the tank and fenders off of my 04 heritage efi for paint, when i put it back together and put gas in it no sound when i turn the ignition on. It tries to crank but wont turn over. I reset the dash thinking that was the problem (i have no idea how to read the diagnostics) probably just a small problem. Im a painter not a mechanic. Any info would be appreciated

The hiss that you miss is the fuel pump not running.

Check wires - Check Fuses - etc...

Yep. Sounds like a wire, harness, etc. didn't make it back together properly. Make sure a harness pin didn't push out the back too. You never know...

Thanks for the feedback, i think a harness pin may be the culprit, i was having trouble with the pins bending on the harness under the dash on the tank

Thats what happened,one of the pins bent
