I ordered a 18x4.25 rear wheel. DNA said I needed a 160x60 18 rear tire. That will work right? I see everyone is saying the 150x70 18

As far as the front wheel, in most cases... The 21 x 3.0 or 3.50 is the same rim, just measured from a different area on the rim. If the wheel your are looking at actually is different, its rare but they both will accommodate the 120/70-21 tire fine. All of our wheels we call the 21 x 3.50 size because of where we measure at on the rim.

My '09 Deluxe had a 18x4.25 (Avon Cobra 150/70-18) on the rear and I had rubbing issues when riding two up (and occasionally one up and I only weigh 165) and it was impossible to get the saddle bags on so I swapped out to the standard size. You have been forewarned! 😂

18x4.25 with a 150/70/18 tire. That is how it is done on a Deluxe. 25mm bearings etc. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Wheels are on my brain, all the time.
Have you ran a 18x4.25 with a 150/70/18 tire? Ive heard 2 people say it rubs.

When I first purchased the wheel/tire combo for my Deluxe, I was told by a couple riders that it was real tight but that I could make it work. Well, after several trips to my Indy and various adjustments, the rubbing never really stopped. I wore out a new Avon Cobra tire in less than 4K miles with the rubbing. FYI, I also have a 18x4.25 (150/70-18) on my 2005 Heritage and have plenty of room and never had any issues. That's what led me to do the 18x4.25 (150/70-18) on my 2009 Deluxe which turned out to be problematic. Since Harley tolerances can vary from bike to bike, maybe you will get lucky. I have read on several sites that the 160/60-18 should work with the Deluxe, but I just went back to a 16" rear wheel. Ron
I haven’t received the wheels yet. DNA had an issue. I think my best move will probably go to the stock size and get the 16. I appreciate all of the help fellas! Im seeing the stock is a 16x3 wheel with a 140/85/16. Is this what u guys went with?
