if I want to add the Radio Shack spearker to my bike, where would I find the connector wire? Would I find it under the seat. It is a 2006 Heritage Classic.
above is the thread. BTW I had to connect two speakers in order to get them to work. I believe it was due to current draw.
This is an easy mod.
You do need to lift the rear off the ground to slide the splash shield down to gain access to the speaker area/connector.
Also, I didn't cut any wires, I just soldered the end of the speaker wires to make them rigid then pushed them into the connector socket.
I then taped the **** out of the connector and wire.
Also, I used velcro to stick the speakers to the bike then tire wrapped them to secure them better.
