Man, I would love too but I won't be where my bike is till tomorrow. I'll toss up a picture Friday or Saturday. It actually looks pretty clean. The chrome spacer is exactly the same diameter as the foot-peg, and other than a small line, you would never be able to tell. I'm pretty happy.
I'll fire it up and take a ride without them first just to see if it's punishing or not (mostly to the neighbors - I leave for work in the dead AM hours and don't want to set off everyone's car alarms, lol).

Just a little heads up. Not saying they won't help you out, but just what I heard.
I ordered some turn signal spacers, they are basically what you suggested so thanks for the tip, much appreciated!

Yeah, we always knew it was just a matter of time. Looks awesome!

Thanks guys!! 6 or 7 drill bits later
I took it for a test spin and I swear that it sounds quieter than my V&H Longshots. I'm sure it's because they stick out a couple feet farther back. I put my Xied's back in prior to starting it up and it ran silky smooth with hardly any decel pop, just a nice rumble up & down. Next up is a custom console and to figure out what to do with my mirrors. Can't decide if I like how they're set up or not.

I know what you mean! I too was expecting them to be louder. I had V&H BSL. Plus all of the noise was coming out of one side of the bike rather than both sides now. Might have a little to do with it too.

Interesting that all the sound is 2 feet behind you now, so you can't compare the sound while you're riding. Probably get the wife to listen as I take off.
Side note: New pipes spread out on the floor and bike is all Liquid-Wrenched up for a Saturday AM install.
I was also wearing my face mask today when I went for a little ride. Ears were covered so I didn't get the full effect of them. You could tell they are loud though! I had my father run it after they were installed so I could hear what they sound like. I like the sound of the Samsons better than the V&H. Also, I hammered on it a little bit to test the performance. I thought it performed better with these pipes on it. I didn't tune anything yet either. Seemed to run smoother...
