Question Adjustable Push Rods - R they all the same

Just Wonderin if I need to get new push Rods are some better than others ... Stage 1 , 88 , FI , .. Gunna check my cam chain tensioners Next Week , Don't have the Money todo the cams just gunna change the Tensioners and push rods if they are Bad , If there OK , I'll Check-Um in another 10,000 ..

I'm sure there are big differences in APR's. For instance, some are "fast install", whereas you still can use them with your existing pushrod covers. My only experience with them is with Smith Brothers APR's. I used them when I upgraded the inner cam bearings in my 08 FXSTC. I liked them so much that when I did the same to my 08 Ultra, I used Smith Bros. again. Biggest difference in APR's I believe is the threads per inch of the adjusters. That and some are just more robust than others.

If you go through the top, you won't need them. But if you have your heart set on them, I have Andrews aluminum and have had no problems in about 10,000 miles. Also would suggest the pushrod tubes for adjustables. Not absolutely necessary, but they lessen the hassle of adjusting. Prolly get plenty of opinions on this.
