Getting ready to make a few changes and mods to my ride I will be adding the matching rotors and belt pulley to my fat daddy wheels I also will be adding chrome calipers . I was thinking about going with the HHI hog halters but do not know much about them and was looking for any one who has them and what they thought. Do they break as good as or better than factory harley. I like the looks but need to know if they will preform any help let me know
HHI are very very good calipers, and will stop or brake better than stock, we use some of them on our custom bikes, and have never ever had a problem with them.
I used the HHI calipers on my Fatboy with PM wheels and rotors.I don't like how PM stamps their logo on the calipers. The HHI are a quality piece and they seem to stop better than the stock Harley units.

What year is your Softail?
Is your HHI rear caliper a one piece or two piece?
Just bought a HHI caliper for my Heritage Springer. Searched for it on Google, and bought it through Amazon.
$314, free shipping. Best part is, on the Springer, it's bumping from a single pot caliper to a 4 piston. Braking should improve greatly.
Bought it now, so that when my wheels show up, I am ready to rock and roll. I didn't want to hit my new rotors with the old caliper, so new wheels/rotors/caliper all in one shot.
Also, FWIW, I am switching to Lyndall Z+ pads. Did this on my Street Glide, and they are a noticeable improvement.
Can't speak much about either one yet, but I am happy with the reviews I've read online about the HHI. And I do like the smooth chrome finish sans logos.
