Hey guys I am looking to install a round oil tank on my Springer. I have the oil tank but I am looking for information on the lines and fittings. More specifically brands, material, lengths and the fittings I need. Thanks!!!!
Aeroquip is a manufacturer that comes to mind. Should have stainless braided lines and fittings for you. As far as lengths, all I can say is mount it up and measure. A good auto hot rod shop should have a selection of what you're going to need. I don't mean Autozone or O'Reilly, either.
What year bike, is the tank configured to be used with simple hose connections, or are the nipples threaded, with standard pipe thread or AN type fitting? You know, be specific...

Here's a pic of mine on my '89 fxstc. Tank fittings were 1/8 pipe with 3/8 hose barbs. These are hose clamp covers that look kinda ok from a distance but are a bitch to install with the stainless covering on the hose. Same thing on the other end, 1/8 pipe with 3/8 hose barbs, would like to do something different but these were on there when I took the original tank off and changed to this one so I used them again.
