So I was taking off my linkage, shift pegs, and clutch cable last night and I don't have any mirrors or signals but there's just too much exposure without the perch in their and looks goofy with it on. Any suggestions? Thanks.
from what I've seen, most guys take the stock perch off and cut off the part that protrudes to hold the clutch lever. Grind it down smooth and then have it re-powder coated.
That way you have the main part on the bar filling in the gap, but nothing sticking out the front as if you just removed the lever and did nothing else with it.
There is a jockey shift thread, if you don't get any of those guys reply's here, you could PM some of the guys in that thread to see what they did.
