Mileage varies depending on how you ride. I ride until the low fuel light comes on and push it another 30 or so miles and fuel up. Usually around 190 for me. But I ride hard and don't have a stock bike. When it was stock, I was able to get 225 or so out of it before I fueled up.

Awesome reply Captain Sarcasm.... have anything to offer to "fix" part of the thread?
The tank guage on my Heritage would only read to about 3/4 of a tank when I filled it up until about a year ago. It reads full when I fill it now and is pretty accurate, so it seems to have fixed itself. I got used to using the trip counter and still use it.
I just fill up at around 180 miles. These gauges are known for most being useless. I had mine out a couple of times and worked the float back and forth. Then made sure it wasn't catching on anything when I put it back in. It worked better for a while each time then quit again. I finally fixed it by covering the gauge with a decorative cover to match the one on the gas cap and I go by the odometer.
My '05 Heritage fuel gauge got "stuck" and I had HD look at it while getting my 20k service a few years ago and they were able to fix the problem without replacing the gauge (at no charge). It's been working fine ever since. SJ Ron
